Inspired by Squid Game. Built on discipline. Five locations, five rounds of elimination, one contract separating the winner from the rest.
In autumn 2023, Miri watched the first season of Squid Game: The Challenge. The idea of public elimination, set under cameras, where each participation carries weight — it struck him as a metaphor for the market.
The market eliminates every day. Only without cameras, without a narrator. Whoever doesn't respect the rules leaves without warning. So why not show that process — not as spectacle, but as a lesson?
In February 2024 the open call was posted on Instagram and TikTok. 1,400 applications in 10 days. Of those — 48 people were invited to Theth, a village without phone signal, for Round 1.
Each round took place in a different location. No internet. No outside help. Only the academy rules and a real account.
Each location was chosen for a reason — isolation, pressure, or contrast at the moment of elimination.
Each episode covers a full round — from arrival to elimination. About 52 minutes on average. Streamed free on YouTube, 24 hours after each shoot.
Casting for Season 02 is open until June 1, 2026. We're looking for 64 applicants this year — 6 locations, 6 rounds, a 2-year contract for the winner.
